e.g., machines automatically doing tasks without intervention<\/li>\n<li><strong>Predictive<\/strong> &#8211; e.g., segment most likely to convert<\/li>\n<li><strong>Generative<\/strong> &#8211; e.g., content creation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, sans-serif; font-size: 20px; color: #000000; font-weight: 600; letter-spacing: -1px; line-height: 1; text-transform: uppercase;\">Adobe&#8217;s Firefly Trained On AI Competitors<\/h2>\n<p style=\"font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, sans-serif; font-size: 18px; color: #353535; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: 0; line-height: 1.5; text-transform: none;\">Bloomberg <a style=\"color: #396caa;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.entrepreneur.com\/business-news\/adobes-firefly-ai-image-generator-partly-trained-with-ai\/472622\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">reported recently<\/a> that Adobe&#8217;s AI image generator <a style=\"color: #396caa;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.adobe.com\/products\/firefly.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Firefly<\/a> included AI images generated by its competitors, including Midjourney, DALL\u2022E 3, and Stable Diffusion, as well as Adobe Stock images.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, sans-serif; font-size: 18px; color: #353535; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: 0; line-height: 1.5; text-transform: none;\"><strong>This is problematic for two reasons:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol style=\"font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, sans-serif; font-size: 18px; color: #353535; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: 0; line-height: 1.5; text-align: left; text-transform: none;\">\n<li>Adobe claimed it was &#8220;Commercial Safe&#8221;, unlike Midjourney<\/li>\n<li>It brings Firefly&#8217;s ethicality into question, wondering whether or not other AI models and artists were compensated by Adobe for their inputs<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, sans-serif; font-size: 18px; color: #353535; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: 0; line-height: 1.5; text-transform: none;\">According to Adobe, only 5% of the AI-generated images used to train Firefly came from AI images created by other platforms.
