No matter what model you use or what you are trying to accomplish, block time on your calendar to work on better prompting.<\/p>\n<h4>A Reminder on Effective Prompting Techniques:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Be specific and prescriptive in prompts<\/li>\n<li>Assign a role\/persona to the AI (ie email copywriting expert)<\/li>\n<li>Provide context (geography, time period, industry etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Set boundaries and constraints<\/li>\n<li>Use follow-up prompts to refine outputs<\/li>\n<li>QA results by asking for sources and explanations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>What Am I Testing? \u2714\ufe0f<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><strong>Google Gemini<\/strong>&nbsp;is the LLM I use the&nbsp;<strong>least<\/strong>, but here are the data points that are starting to change my mind:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/notebooklm.google\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">NotebookLM<\/a>&nbsp;\u2013 You can upload text, notes, etc, to build your own personal RAG without coding. I tend to use Gemini when I need that larger context window, but how they connect it to audio is what makes it unique. &gt;&gt;&gt; Watch more on how folks are actually using&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=VyQox7MMjG8&amp;t=1501s\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">NotebookLM<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zdnet.com\/article\/gemini-live-is-finally-available-for-all-android-phones-how-to-access-it-for-free\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Gemini Live<\/a>&nbsp;\u2013 It\u2019s now free. You can talk 4x the speed you type. If you\u2019re an Android user, it\u2019s worth seeing if you like it better than ChatGPT.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.google\/products\/google-cloud\/gen-ai-business-use-cases\/#customer-agents\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">185 Case Studies<\/a>&nbsp;of actual companies using Gemini.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/glasp.co\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Glasp<\/a>&nbsp;is the new web clipper. I loved Evernote, but it died a slow death. I wouldn\u2019t recommend adopting Glasp yet but the free version is worth checking out if you have a YouTube problem like me or read on Kindle and\/or use Notion.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>What Am I Thinking About? \ud83d\udc40<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Opensource LLMs like Llama; and what a pissed-off and motivated Mark Zuckerberg will do.<\/p>\n<p>A quick summary of what Zuckerberg\u2019s up to lately:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/articles\/c6258zn1663o\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">John Cena and Judi Dench<\/a>&nbsp;are voice options. Celebrity will be an interesting driver of AI adoption.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.technologyreview.com\/2024\/10\/01\/1104581\/the-coolest-thing-about-smart-glasses-is-not-the-ar-its-the-ai\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mark thinks smart glasses<\/a>&nbsp;will replace phones.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/huggingface.co\/blog\/llama32\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Llama released<\/a>&nbsp;a free vision-capable 3.2 version<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[elementor-template id=&#8221;26839&#8243;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>How marketers are working to improve their AI processes.
