It\u2019s real. We know less and must infer more.<\/li>\n<li><b>Google Search Traffic<\/b> is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.seroundtable.com\/google-august-2024-core-update-impact-poll-results-37989.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">going down<\/a> and will get double-digit worse next year.<\/li>\n<li><b>TikTok<\/b> may get banned, but it will likely <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@profgalloway\/video\/7346406421468138782?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">get sold<\/a> by Jan.<\/li>\n<li><b>Bing <\/b>is not going to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.seroundtable.com\/bing-market-share-chatgpt-36751.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">save us<\/a>. \ud83e\udd23<\/li>\n<li><b>AI and Algorithms<\/b> are mostly black boxes, so it\u2019s hard to understand what worked and why for Ads.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4>What CAN WE DO?<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h4>Channel Diversification to De-Risk<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>More Linear TV. Yep, at sub $7 CPMs vs $10.27 Avg CPM for Meta its 30%+ Cheaper and no fraud.<\/li>\n<li>More Digital Audio: Spotify, iHeart, Pandora, and Podcasts have good CPMs, targeting, and ROI.<\/li>\n<li>More YouTube: 81% of the US population uses it, for 48 minutes monthly, and even your Mom spends time on it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h4>More Testing to Prove What\u2019s Working<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Creative Testing<\/li>\n<li>Channel Testing<\/li>\n<li>Geo Hold out Testing<\/li>\n<li>Incremental Testing<\/li>\n<li>A\/B\/n Landing Page Testing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h4>Using Generative AI to Lower Ad and Content Costs 40%+<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Creative Ad Pipeline<\/li>\n<li>Video Pipeline<\/li>\n<li>Landing Page Pipeline<\/li>\n<li>Content Pipeline<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h4>Better Data as AI Needs Good Signal<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Capturing all of our 1st party Data: Website, Mobile, Email, SMS, ChatBot, Calls, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Buying Data 3rd party Data that we can append easily<\/li>\n<li>Partnering for Unique Data. Gone are the days of an Excel sheet and some quality bargaining with ad reps.<\/p>\n<p>You need to think like an AI. What data can I feed it? Where can I get that data? How do I do a statistically significant test to see if that Ad\/Channel\/Partner adds incrementally to my sales? How would I rework my production pipeline to scale this?<\/p>\n<p>And <u>please<\/u> get on top of your Ad Fraud.
