My List On The Under-Appreciated \ud83d\ude4f\ud83c\udffc<\/strong><\/h1>\n

It’s been a rough few months for most digital marketers (Google Updates, Privacy Laws, iOS Updates)…<\/p>\n

But it’s not all bad.<\/p>\n

Today, I’m giving you my, \u2018Good News List\u201d of 10 things that have happened in the industry that, I believe, are underappreciated.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udc47\ud83c\udffc<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n
\n

\u2764\ufe0f The good news is…<\/h2>\n

1\ufe0f\u20e3 Google is keeping Cookies.<\/a> Big\u2026Big news.<\/p>\n

2\ufe0f\u20e3 ChatGPT continues to lower<\/strong> prices<\/a> and get smarter<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

3\ufe0f\u20e3 GA4 continues to get better<\/strong> after a disastrous launch.<\/p>\n

4\ufe0f\u20e3 If you got crushed in the Google search update, YouTube<\/strong> and TikTok<\/strong> are becoming a viable search alternative.<\/p>\n

5\ufe0f\u20e3 Bing, OpenAI, and Perplexity are all giving Google a competitive ulcer in Search<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

6\ufe0f\u20e3 Meta Ads have stabilized<\/strong>, and what they are doing with Llama is exciting<\/a>.<\/p>\n

7\ufe0f\u20e3 Linear TV still works well.<\/strong> Yep, you read that right $7 CPM (TV) vs $55 CPM (Meta) means you reach more 50-year-olds with NO ad fraud<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

8\ufe0f\u20e3 Automation is getting useful for the everyday marketer. Zapier, Make, Asana, and Notion have all embraced workflows and automation, saving us time. <\/strong><\/p>\n

9\ufe0f\u20e3 I can learn just about anything I need to for free<\/strong> from YouTube<\/strong>. I\u2019m regularly humbled by the quality<\/strong> of Marketing content.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udd1f I can\u2019t code.<\/strong> But ChatGPT and Claude are a big help when I need to \ud83d\udcde a friend on Google Tag Manager, WordPress, and CSS.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n
