The ‘My Boss Doesn’t Believe in AI’ Edition<\/h1>\n

When I teach my \u200bAI classes\u200b at the University of New Hampshire, I hear from many of my students that they can’t use AI properly because of roadblocks<\/em> from management and IT.<\/p>\n

‘My boss doesn’t believe in AI’ is a recurring theme… And there’s no way they’ll buy the paid version.\ud83d\udcb8<\/p>\n

As I’ve mentioned previously, not having a paid membership is a big<\/strong> mistake when it comes to AI copyright issues.<\/p>\n

So. How do you convince your boss you need one?<\/p>\n

Here are the three <\/strong>arguments I would use to get my boss over the AI line…<\/p>\n

The Argument:<\/strong> If a pharmaceutical company can have everyone<\/strong> on ChatGPT… why can\u2019t we?<\/p>\n

Then show them this:<\/strong><\/p>\n

2\ufe0f\u20e3 Time Saving = Cost Saving<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The Argument: <\/strong>We can save a lot<\/strong> of money in marketing if we can make videos that are even half<\/strong> as good as the ones shown here…<\/p>\n

Then show them this:<\/strong><\/p>\n

3\ufe0f\u20e3 Our Competitors Are Beating Us<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The Argument:<\/strong> Our competitors are using (insert AI<\/em>). We aren’t, so we’re behind. If we don\u2019t get a paid account, we will be even further behind because, according to this MIT study<\/a>, their output will be 40% better<\/strong> and 18% faster <\/strong>with AI.<\/p>\n
