Everything marketers need to know about Apple Intelligence
Read Time: 5 minutes
This week Apple gave all marketers a lot to think through at their Worldwide Developers Conference.
My favorite part? Apple rebranding AI to Apple Intelligence.
Well played, Apple, well played.π₯
A Look Inside the Conference π
If there was any question as to gold standard in AI, Apple seems to have answered that question for us, when they chose ChatGPT to power aspects of their new assistive technology: Apple Intelligence.
And as for Apple’s privacy claims? I’m reading between the lines.
While Apple claimed the conference to be privacy-centric, my gut feels like this tends to be more about Apple kneecapping Google, Meta, and other ad platforms… encouraging you to buy ads via Apple in the future.
Apple will integrate its proprietary hardware with on-device AI, likely providing a superior user experience to Google’s Android ecosystem.
The Implications For Your Marketing π«΅
With Apple’s new tech, 28% of the phones in the world will now have ChatGPT installed on their mobile device. π€―
And guess what? Your customers will demand your sh*tty chatbot on your website be at least as good as what they see on their phone every day.
Ahem, to summarize: Welcome to a cycle of β¨forced upgradesβ¨ for those of you on Hubspot, Salesforce, and other platforms that are lagging where there are current upskilling opportunities.
