The biggest barrier to Marketing AI adoption in the workplace?

The ‘My Boss Doesn’t Believe in AI’ Edition

Read Time: 4 minutes

When I teach my AI classes at the University of New Hampshire, I hear from many of my students that they can’t use AI properly because of roadblocks from management and IT.

‘My boss doesn’t believe in AI’ is a recurring theme… And there’s no way they’ll buy the paid version.💸

As I’ve mentioned previously, not having a paid membership is a big mistake when it comes to AI copyright issues.

So. How do you convince your boss you need one?

Here are the three arguments I would use to get my boss over the AI line…

👇🏼

1️⃣ 100% Adoption By Legal dept

The Argument: If a pharmaceutical company can have everyone on ChatGPT… why can’t we?

2️⃣ Time Saving = Cost Saving

The Argument: We can save a lot of money in marketing if we can make videos that are even half as good as the ones shown here…

3️⃣ Our Competitors Are Beating Us

The Argument: Our competitors are using (insert AI). We aren’t, so we’re behind. If we don’t get a paid account, we will be even further behind because, according to this MIT study, their output will be 40% better and 18% faster with AI.

Then show them this (Open Source = Low Cost AI):

As Promised…STEAL MY PROMPTS 🤝

In my last email I promised my top 5 prompts. 40% of us spend 1/4 of our time each week on busy work.

Want that time back?

Test a new prompt. It’s a skill to build through regular practice.

A couple of pointers:

  1. What type of expert do you need help from? Acting as an expert copywriter, analyst, social media strategist…
  2. Add the industry you are in, ‘An expert email copywriter in higher education.’ 🙌
  3. Get Efficient > Steal My Prompts
